So.
I am a liar, on many counts.
Have I posted further pictures of the flat? Non. Have I posted images of the 3D model I have been working on of the flat? Non. Have I posted more cute pictures of the kids? Non.
I CAN take care of the last two, though. C’est voila, an image of my model…
…and more importantly…
But, palliatives to the side, what HAVE we been doing? Well, Lana begins teaching tomorrow. She spent time at the British Library throughout last week– renewing her card, requesting & reading books, and negotiating the mysteries of “pumping” whilst at the Library itself. (I foresee an edit coming.) We met her at Russell Square on Saturday; went to lunch at Belgos (one of my all-time favorite restaurants in London), and then headed to Corams Fields so the kids could hit up the “adventureland” therein (an adventureland is like a “big toy” or playground structure, not a ripoff of the amusement park in Altoona, IA known to my fellow Midwesterners). Lunch was delicious, but unfortunately, Corams Field was a bust. Kids got too tired, and the playground, while probably very nice in warmer months, seemed a bit dilapidated in the midst of the winter. We had Sunday Lunch at The Albion with our friend Suzy today– a great lunch, and a good friend.
So, in some ways, we haven’t been up to much. But it has been very nice doing it. The kids are pretty well acclimatized (with the exception of Sawyer’s sleeping schedule), and we are beginning to get into the habits and routines of life.
As soon as that baby can remember how to sleep, life will be stunning.
two prettiest girls I have ever seen! 🙂
omg….that 2nd picture is so cute. We moved our strange tributes blog to blogspot! Check it out if you have time.
ok. srsly. Lana, I am a bit jealous that you get to spend your days hanging in the library, re-reading the bard, lounging at the pub and your hubby sits home making awesome models and updating the blog.
Well done.
Sawyer’s chin! I just want to reach across the ocean and grab it (gently). It just hangs so deliciously between her two ripe cheeks! Loving the Adventureland IA ref–well done. Yes, I spent a high school honors physics field trip there supposedly calculating speed of roller coasters or something. I really only remember that I got this sweet airbrush t-shirt with my name in a large green heart. mmmm.
